Revlon Magnet Blonde Developer 20 Vol

Revlon Magnet developed mineral oil-based developers with 3 different concentrations: 10, 20 and 30 Vol. (3%, 6% and 9%). These developers were formulated to achieve the best results in any lightening technique, providing precise lift and respecting the hair fibre. They must be used exclusively with Revlon Magnet Bondes lighteners.

The Revlon Magnet Developer 20 VOL is the MEDIUM LIFT* step (medium lift) of the BondIN SystemTM technology, which protects your hair's internal bonds while offering a 360º protective shield against external aggressors (pollutants, UV radiation, chemical and mechanical factors), as all of these have a negative impact on the health and structure of your hair fibre and even on the desired colour result. This developer is your best ally for gentle lightening and ideal timing control.

Active ingredients:

• Mineral Oil – also known as liquid petrolatum, liquid paraffin or liquid vaseline, mineral oil with emollient properties is a great ally when we want to keep our hair hydrated. It improves and maintains the treatment performed on the hair, leaving it with a beautiful and healthy effect for longer. Mineral oil promotes the formation of a protective film around the strands, which prevents hair from getting damaged and reduces water loss. This ingredient is perfect for use on dry and brittle hair, leaving the hair soft and shiny.

How to use: Must be used exclusively with Revlon Magnet Bondes lighteners.

• In a non-metallic bowl, mix the lightening powder with Revlon Magnet Developer 10, 20 or 30 VOL.;
• Mix as follows:  1 part lightener + 2 parts developer cream (e.g. 30g Revlon Magnet Lightener 7 + 60g Revlon Magnet Developer);
• Immediately after preparing the mixture, put on gloves and apply to dry, unwashed hair with the aid of a brush;
• For root touch-ups, when applying to the scalp area, use a maximum of Revlon Magnet Developer 20 VOL.;
• Avoid overlapping on previously lightened hair sections;
• The processing time is up to a maximum of 45 minutes.
• Check the lightening level every 5 minutes to see if the desired result has been achieved;
• After the processing time, rinse thoroughly.

*The mixing ratio may differ depending on the technique used and the desired result. Thus, 1:2 is the recommended proportion, which may vary between 1:1.5 and 1:2.5

Very important:  Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before application; Perform a strand test and evaluate the condition of the hair as well as its chemical history;

• The heat from hairdryers, straighteners and stylers contributes to faster colour fading and can damage your hair, especially if it is more weakened.  Therefore, whenever you opt for a heat source, use a heat protector suitable for the temperature of the equipment you are using; 
• Lightened hair is more susceptible to external influences, so you should take special care with UV rays. During periods when your hair is more exposed to the sun (e.g. at the beach/pool), use a protector with sun filter;
