Magma is a colouration that can be used on natural or coloured hair, and it lightens and pigments simultaneously, thanks to its Spectralift technology.
Its active principle is SPECTRALIFT technology, which works both inside and outside the hair fibre, allowing the fibre to be lightened internally and pigmentation to occur simultaneously in a single step.
Inside the hair fibre, special molecular combinations are evenly distributed to lighten melanin and apply colour. On the outside of the hair fibre, while melanin is lightened internally, a thin layer of advanced colour pigments, specifically formulated to combine with the lightening process, gently deposits onto the hair surface.
Magma By Blondor 89+ - golden ash plus used on darker bases (2/0 – 5/0), because these shades have greater intensity.
Key features:
- Specially developed for foiled highlighting techniques or freehand techniques (Freehand Techniques), artistic toning or creative colouring techniques
- Achieves up to 6 levels of lift
- Suitable for all coloured or natural hair from shade level 7/0 medium blonde and darker
- This pigmented lightener is for exclusive use in hair salons
Directions for use: Before using Wella Magma By Blondor consult the leaflet. The recommended mixing ratio: 1+1.5.
Can be used with all Wella developers from 1.9% up to 12% depending on the desired level of lift and shade intensity. For exact measurement, we recommend using a colour scale. The use of developers from other brands may lead to a reduction in shade intensity and shorter colour durability. It functions in a similar way to a lightener and toner.
Development times: Blonde shades: 15-30 minutes with heat using Climazon, or 20-40 minutes without heat, according to the desired colour intensity and hair structure;
Red shades: 20-45 minutes with heat using Climazon, or 30-60 minutes without heat, according to the desired colour intensity and hair structure.
Note: Wella Magma Pigmented Lightener was developed only for foiled highlighting and freehand techniques and should not come into contact with the scalp. For foiled highlighting techniques, we recommend using Magma and Welloxon Perfect. For freehand colouring techniques, we recommend using Freelights developers. Do not shampoo hair before using Magma.
Please do not use Magma on: hair normally coloured with plant-based colourings. Hair normally treated with chemical relaxers.
Also use ….
- To keep blonde highlights within cool tones, use a toning shampoo once a week to neutralise unwanted yellow/orange tones to ensure the strands remain beautiful and luminous;
- The colouring/lightening process sensitises the hair fibre, so it's important to provide regular care. Use a repairing mask if your hair is particularly sensitised;
- The heat tools we use for drying and styling hair can damage the strands. Use a heat protectant suitable for the temperature of the tool you are using;
- Coloured/highlighted hair is more susceptible to external influences, so special care should be taken with UV rays, during periods when your hair is most exposed to the sun (e.g., at the beach/pool) to prevent colour oxidation. Use a sun protection spray that will protect and hydrate the hair;
