Açaí Brasil Progressive Smoothing Step 2 is the ideal treatment for professionals seeking gradual volume reduction and frizz control, without damaging the hair.

This hair straightening treatment, developed by Gaboni, promotes a natural straight effect while deeply hydrating and nourishing the hair, restoring hair health and providing intense shine.

With a formula rich in natural oils, such as Açaí oil, Amaranth oil, and Rosemary oil, the treatment acts directly on the hair, repairing damage and protecting against external aggressions.

Açaí oil, packed with vitamins A, C, and E, as well as omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids, offers deep hydration and frizz control, keeping the hair soft, nourished, and shiny. Amaranth oil provides essential fatty acids and antioxidants that restore hair health and combat breakage, while Rosemary oil stimulates scalp circulation, promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss.

With a pH of 2.0 - 2.5, this second step opens the hair cuticles, ensuring the penetration of active ingredients, providing stronger, more flexible, and revitalised hair. Completely free of formaldehyde and preservatives, it guarantees exceptional yield with more than 6 applications per package.

Is it a permanent straightening?

No. It is a progressive smoothing treatment. The effect accumulates with applications, allowing progressive control of volume and frizz.

Can it be used on coloured hair?

Yes, provided the condition of the hair fibre is respected. The formula is a treatment, but it must be applied by a professional to avoid sensitisation.

Does the hair become completely straight?

It depends on the hair structure and the technique applied. The result varies between significant volume reduction and a more intense straight effect.

How to Use

Perform the patch test and strand test.

Patch test: prepare a small amount of the product; apply behind the ear or in the crook of the arm; wait 30 minutes. Then, wash the applied area and wait 24 hours. If no visible reaction occurs, proceed with the strand test.

Strand test: Select a strand from the nape, middle of the hair, or frontal area, and follow the complete step-by-step instructions for the product. If the strand does not become elastic, rubbery, or brittle, the test is approved, indicating that the hair is in suitable condition for using the product. Nevertheless, it is important to assess the hair as a whole, as the integrity of the hair can vary depending on the area of the head. Therefore, always seek a professional for assessment.

Wash hair twice with Clarifying Shampoo, leaving it on for 5 minutes the second time, then rinse and dry 100%.
Divide the hair and apply Açaí Brasil - Brazilian Keratin using a brush half a centimetre from the root, avoiding contact with the scalp. Distribute the product using a fine-tooth comb.
Leave on for 60 minutes and wash the hair, removing 80% of the product.
Dry 100% and flat iron (15 to 20 times at the root and mid-lengths; fewer times on the ends according to the hair's integrity). Use temperatures between 180-230°C, according to the Strand Test*.
Rinse
Apply the Instant Straightening Effect Spray and finish.

IMPORTANT: NEVER use bleach or other chemicals on the same day. Wait for an interval of up to 10 days after applying the Thermal Reducer to perform bleaching.
