Directions for use: Follow the instructions on the packaging.

The first number corresponds to the base colour and indicates how light or dark the colour is:

1.0 = black
5.0 = light brown
6.0 = dark blonde
7.0 = blonde
10 = lightest blonde.The second number in the system comes after the dot.
.1=Blue
.2 is Violet
.3 is Yellow
.4 is Copper
.5 is Mahogany
.6 is Red
.7 is Green
.8 is Mocha.e.g.: 2.7 corresponds to a dark brown with green reflects, and a 9.2 a blonde with yellow reflects. This system allows the colourist to neutralise the colour: to prevent a blonde colour from becoming too warm, they can add more .2 - Violet or .1 - Blue to neutralise yellow and orange tones.
