Demi-permanent medium brown hair colour with iridescent cool reflect, ammonia-free for neutralisation and gloss shine
The L’Oréal Pro Dia Color Demi-permanent Hair Colour 4.12 is a tone-on-tone, ammonia-free hair colour, designed to work on medium brown bases with a cool and controlled tone. The shade 4.12 is positioned as a medium brown with an iridescent cool reflect, ideal for neutralising warm reflects and achieving a more uniform and sophisticated finish.
When applied to dry hair, the creamy texture homogeneously coats the hair fibre, allowing for precise and consistent distribution. The colour develops progressively, revealing a medium brown with a subtle cool nuance and visible gloss shine. Hair appears more uniform, with controlled depth and a refined finish from roots to ends.
The lost melanin replenishment technology acts within the hair fibre, replicating natural colour and filling chromatic irregularities. The result is continuous colour, with balanced reflects and no artificial contrast. Suitable for correcting unwanted warm reflects, evening out faded lengths, or revitalising dull hair.
With a duration of up to 6 weeks, the colour remains stable and luminous. Coverage can reach up to 70% of grey hair, ensuring a natural and integrated result. The ammonia-free formula provides greater comfort during the service and respects the hair fibre.
With up to 92% naturally-derived ingredients, this hair colour offers professional performance with a gentler approach. Suitable for colour maintenance, reflect correction, and shine enhancement in medium brown hair.

You can use any Diactivateur developer with Dia colour (mixing ratio: 1 + 1.5). For best results, we recommend: Diactivateur 6 vol. for a soft colour deposit; Diactivateur 9 vol. for a medium colour deposit; Diactivateur 15 vol. for an intense colour deposit.
Wear suitable disposable gloves. Do not use metal tools (bowl, comb...). Use only the recommended Diactivateur.
In a non-metallic bowl, applicator bottle, or shaker, mix 60 ml (1 tube) of Dia Color cream and add 90 ml of your chosen Diactivateur developer. Apply to dry hair.
First application: The 20-minute development time begins at the end of the application.
Root retouch: Apply to the root area, begin the 20-minute development time, and then immediately distribute through the rest of the hair to revitalise the colour for a deeper and/or darker result.
Distribute through the rest of the hair after 10 minutes, if lengths and ends are moderately faded.
Emulsify during the last 5 minutes, if the colour is slightly faded.
At the end of the development time, carefully emulsify for a few minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Wash with the Metal Detox shampoo.
